How to maximize my potential in such a small space?

also how did you manage to pull down 1oz per wk in that setup? what size pots did you use? how many plants would you suggest growing? whatever info you can give would be more than helpful. im aiming for 2oz per month if that helps.

should i run the cab 12/12 continuously and grow perpetual or should i have designated veg/bloom cycles (ie. go 18/6 for X amount of time then flower to completion before starting more? etc)

my space is 38in tall. 29 1/2 inches wide and 19 inches deep.

so its roughly 3ft tallx 2ft-2.5ft wide x 1.5ft deep. does that make a difference? or should i just go cfl?

overall i dont mind going CFL only. just wanna make sure i get an HPS if i can use one in that space successfully.
You can prolly fit 6 x 2 foot T5 high output flouros in there for 12,000 lumens at 140 watts. Low profile and low heat.

Don't worry about electrical load. All of my bulbs combined was 388w - compare that to my space heater which is 1500w and it's nothing. I want to say my desktop computer pulls 400w and is never turned off.

If you are worried about cords id suggest something like this - you can't place individual bulbs as ideally as possible but I purchased 3 of these for $3 each, add Y connectors and you can do pretty much anything. The ugly while part can be stripped down to reveal just a steal strip and the bulbs and you can easily make a decent reflector out or mylar, foil, aluminum ducting...

I had a 1x1x2' cab with 2 23w CFLs for veg where I would germ seeds/root clones - it held ~36 small seedlings, 16 fresh cuttings, 12 rooted cuttings, 9 medium clones, or 4 young teens. This allows for a straight 12/12 perpetual in the flower cab.

My 2x3x4' closet space held 6 fully mature plants or several more if there was a mix of age. I would have 6 plants in different stages of full flower (2+weeks) in my main flower cab at a time and 2-3 plants just entering flower - with individual bulbs I was able to vary the canopy to maximize growth of all plants at all stages of development.

With 8-9 plants in the cab at a time at a staggered rate and harvesting each plant at 7-9 weeks of flower that's one oz a week.

Pots were 1 gal.
