Is that the heated version roseman? I was hesitant to purchase that one cause my temps where already pretty high. If that's the one how much does it heat the room if at all?

and as far as how long to run it. just run it till you have the humidity percentage you want. then turn it off. and turn it back on to bring it back up.
a computer controlled one that runs automatically would be sweeeeeeeet.

how long you keep it on through out the day?
You can put a container of water in the growing area if you don't want to spend money.

You can buy a hydrometer pretty cheap, throw a humidifier on a timer and just play around with it till you get what you need. Like 15 minutes on every 2 hours or something.

Edit: if your temps are high already, adding a container of water might work well for you.

My humidity was 29%, so I picked up a (Cool Mist - Reli on) from Walmart for $23. It brought my humidity up to 38% and my temp went from 89 down to 83. I leave it on 24 hours. My room is 8'x 8' x 8'

It does somehow HEAT the water, but when I let the MIST blow on my hand, it is just WET but NOT WARM. It's like a room temperature steam.

I just run it for an hour, sometimes jsut 30 minutes, int he morning,a dn then again in the evening. But only doring the VEG cycle, never during the Bloom Cycle. I also Mist a lot and I also use a foilage spray.

Why cant you use it during flower? just curious?

you never MIST or FOG a Blooming pot plant, for fear of bud-mold. You can possibly do it and get away with it, it does rain on buds in the jungle, but they sometimes get molded.

an easy and VERY effective way is to soak a large shower towel then wring the water out then hang the towel on wall with nails and vola. instant humidity. repeat process every other day or to fit your preference.

i first got the cheap vicks warm mist humidifer. . had to get a different one becuase it raised the temp from 79 to 86F in my grow tent. . got the cool mist reli on from walmart. . works great, brings the temp down a bit also.. i guess the safest bet would be to get one with both warm and cool mist . . in case you need to raise the temp. .

it was about $24 bucks with tax.. definatly worth it. . and as far as having the humidifier on during flowring. . i dont think it matters as long as the humidity stays where it should be and you have good ventilation with fresh air coming in and stale air going out. .

What if you live where the humidity ranges from 75-90% everyday?
Will the humidity change in your house or say grow room?
