Hello everyone and thanks in advance. I have been reading, and learning, and watching every vid I can find, and I think I am ready to start purchasing some things. I intend to do a sog w/ hydro. I plan to make my own system, keeping it as cost effective as possible. I'm ready to spend around $1000-1500 to get started, but I am mechanically inclined and I just don't want to pay for stuff I can do, but what am I able to go cheap on, and what should I spend the money on? I know seeds are crucial, lights are too but there are a lot of options out there for lights. I want a 430wHPS Hortilux for Flower, and T5's w/75%blue and 25%red for Veg 400wats. What do u all think about this? I hear bubbleponics, but I also hear roots like to fo thru wet/dry phases instead of constantly wet, any input on what I have so far?
