How to slow down growth?

Yea, i know. Thats not 1 you see everyday usually the opposite.
Anyway, here's my situation.. Started a perpetual grow, so i cut an ass load of clones at 1 wk intervals figuring on losing a few.
But as murphys law would have it every 1 of them thrived. So, i started my rotation of filling flower room and now its full with a complete 6 wk rotation with a harvest roughly every wk but i still have bout 20 clones without a home. It will be 3 to 4 wks b4 i will pull 1st tray from flower. At the rate the babies are growing i wont even b able to move them.
So after that long winded explanation, basically i need to know is there anyway to slow down growth via light schedule or anything. I just super cropped them 2 days ago. Any help would b appreciated, hate to have to chop healthy ladies. They're MOC Zensation.. Mandalay and XXX skunk.

They're in a flood & drain system with each plant in its own bucket setting in tray.

I have this "problem" every cycle or so as well, and just train the branches down more in order to keep their height down. That and topping, other than that i think altering the light schedule in an effort to slow down growth would probably be detrimental to the plant. That being said, I find 18 hours of light is a good place to veg at, with 24 often leading to hermaphroditic plants.

cut them back - just don't cut them for at least 3 or 4 days before flowering
cool temps - like 50 degrees will drASTICALLY SLOW GROWTH - you will also see purple sttreaks on the stem

I forgot to mention i've already topped them bout 2 wks ago, just done the super crop. But now they're growing to the sides..
I guess better planning next time. I was thinking bout switching my lights to 18/6, but i read a lot of people saying the plants grow better with that schedule. Oh well grow and learn.
Thanx for the advice

The cool temps is a good idea, thanx. Veg room has its own dedicated ac so i should be able to play around with that

cold temps
lights: 12 hours on 5 hours off 2 hours on 5 hours off
Not meaning to question your advice, cause obviously you've run that light schedule b4.
Do you ever have any probs with girls trying to flower with that short of a light period?

Ive ran into that problem several times. Cutting the amount of light will slow em down a lot. I have kept clones healthy but with very little growth by using a couple 2 foot 2 bulb T8's on a dozen plants. soon as I give em full lights they start growing again.

Thanx guys. I'll give the light and temp change a try
