I bought small rock wool starter cubes and cut them to fit in pods worked great I think the sponges from AG fell apart when I poked hole all the way through.I have the 3sl also I'm growing basil and cilantro in it don't think it's big enough for weed to grow in it. I'm using it more for learning. I m using technoflora recipe for success change nutes weekly and I'm happy with it. I've got a couple plants outside hidden in my veg. Gatdern I take the used nutes from the ag after water change and dump em on the outside plants its only bagseed plants but I think it's doing the job

Trimmed a couple lower leaves off the bottom, mixing more nutes today, really smells awesomeness. I have 2 AK47 and 2 Bubble Gum, but might have to take 1 of the Bubble Gum out for more roots growth. Will use the BG for cooking. Waiting on my booster light package to arrive which will give more light to the sides.
