How to stop a plant without harming it?

Basicly im growing for personal use and its not a very big space where i have it growing. i know im not gonna get a massive amount from it and thats fine as its my first time trying.
Im just wondering how do i keep the size down without hurting the plant.

Yes just bend it, lots of articles on google of how to do it and on this site as well. Also put it in flower early, ie size of basketball, that will keep it smaller.

I use a product called phosphoload. If my girls are starting to stretch too much a good dose of the stuff stops the stretch in its tracks and begins the flower growth.

You don't want to use it all the time, Once is all I need to keep the height were I want it.
