how to stop upword growth

so my outdoor prpl diesel is getting close to 4 feet and i havnt started flowering yet. how do i stop upward growth. i dont want it much taller than this if i can help it.

topping or FIMming are other good options.

bend the top down ? if possible depending your strand a lot of people can bend them , some there is no way, just depends next time send us a pic

vert grow.. .. or just tie her down.. dont be afraid to get a little rough with that bitch, she'll bounce back.. leaves always find the sun

Bending her at this point my be kid of tough. Top her. But if you want to bend her, do it slowly. Loop her to something and everything day just tigthen her lower.

Supercropping will help limit strech

I have a laughing buddah plant that was a slow grower. her sisters are 1 week in flower, while she is still vegging. ive SC'd her, and FIM'd her. now I SC her just about every week. I do this to her main stem, her side main stem (she has a side main stem also), and all other stems get SC's every week/every other week. im just trying new things with her as I have no room in flower for her. its slowed her growth upwards, and she is getting more busy. oh, I also lollipop all my plants as well.
