How to survive drying in running grow room?

Hi,

Beacuse I have 4 strains in the tent, I will need to keep it running in the same room that I will dry (only option in the house)

The humidity is going down to 35% cause of the tent and air condition and this is good for the end of flowering, but not so for drying..

I am drying using wedryer 60 cm, its a must for me for several reasons.

Can I keep the humidity high anyway? I have a humidifier ..
I am trying to think of a good idea how to save the right humidity in the wedryer why keeping the tent under 35% for the end of the cycle.

Do you every dry in the grow room?

If that's what u gotta do then it is what it is. Don't let them dry to much before going into jars. I've dried in 5 days b4 with no issues to taste

U could by a lil 2x2x4 tent to dry in. They will take the humidity up inside that lil tent

its inside a wedryer, so its kind of a tent. But the thing is that I cant let the room go to 50% humidity...

I use a small vent like homie said and add in a few small fans to move the air. The reason why you want low humidity is to stop the chance of mold. So, if that’s the issue, move the air. Moving air well tend to product less mold than stagnant. Happy growing

A small cheap tent with a humidifier and a couple of fans is the easiest way. That wedryer isnt going to do you any favors in there.

I have a 30x30x60 tent that I dry in, I was going to make a post about this but I figure I could ask you if you don't mind. I woke up this morning to 30% in the drying tent. Rh has dropped a lot in winter. This is my first winter growing. If I get a little humidifier should I keep it inside the tent or outside and let the exhaust pull in the moisture?

Spend the extra money on an evaporative humidifier not a cool mist type. The smaller ones tend to be cool mist which can atomize the minerals in the water and put white chalky dust all over the area it's in. There was a good discussion on them here the other day with an article linking the cool mist type to cellular changes in lab mice they exposed to it. I got an evaporative humidifier this week to replace the cool mist one I've had for years.
That being said, as to the best place for it, I'd put it in the lung room outside the tent and try to humidity the air in the room so the tent pulls in the right amount of humidity.

Awesome, thank you for that. I will def look into evaporative humidifiers. I've not used one yet for growing but I remember one running in my bedroom at night sometimes as a kid and I'm picturing the mist that it puts out and am having a hard time seeing how it would evenly spread moisture around a room. Seems like the area around the humidifier would be extremely damp with the surrounding area not so much. Thanks for the advice, I didn't even know there were 2 different types.

You got it. I'd been using the mist style for years and since I used the water from the dehumidifier to fill it, I figured it was good. That stuff is like 5 ppm's coming out of the dehumidifier tank. I thought if it didn't have a lot of minerals it would be good. I never had the chalky residue that I've heard people talk about but the health issue was a big one to me as I'm in my grow for hours everyday. If you could wait a little the Black Friday deals are starting already at a lot of places and you might be able to score a deal on one.
