How to use a grow hut

i planing to but a 56 inch by 56 inch by 7 foot tall grow tent. i know i need to buy an air coolable hood for the 1000 watt hps that ill be using. but what else do i need? do i need co2 or can i open the bottom flaps to allow air to circulate? and i remember reading something about using a carbon filter. i thought these were for odours only. why would i need one of these?
i need to know so i can figure out my finances and of course grow good plants. i just hear that growing in a plastic tent is alot different than growing in a closet.

visit htg supply they have a 4"fan and filter combo i think its like 149 or something anyways. filters are for odor and they are wondrous things. i knw your prob like i fucking love the smell of weed growing but after a while that shit gets old. just go on and get a filter. if you dont have your light yet you can get 1000s at htg with are cooled hoods. its an option on every light they sell. and a small hole towards the bottom will be fine for intake but you dont need a fan for intake. negative pressure will draw cold demse air in. holla.
