How to use canna calmag

I add calmag to water first till I reach a EC of 0.4 then add my usually coco nutes on top, by using calmag my EC is obviously much higher than it should be now, I'm I right in thinking I should be reducing the canna A and B if using calmag to prevent nute burn or is it a norm to add at a higher EC when using calmag.

Hey man, I figure you've got the hang of using it now so wanted to run a question by you about the pH

Ive been waiting 24hrs before adjusting as they say but I've checked the same batch 3 days in a row now and it just goes back up to 6.5, I just took there word for it for a week or so and only tested once the next day and now all my plants are struggling and getting runoff at 6.5.
Have you had this issue?
