How to use tap water???

I'm wondering if there is a way to clean and PH my tap water so that it can be used for my babies? Bottled water is getting a bit expensive .

hey i'm pretty new, only 23 days in, but i was told tap water can be safe if you allow it to sit out in an open container for 24 hours before you use it, i'd also ph tst it. oh is it city water or well water mines city water and it works fine... i asked this same question so i'm just passing on answrs hope that helps some.

Yeah, it's city water and I believe chlorine is the reason for letting it sit out, if I'm not mistaken. However, I'm wondering if there are any other steps to be taken in order to clean the water???

I use water straight from a natural spring Ive NEVER even tested it , My girls drink it up.. almost 40 oz a day

If you can buy one of those small aquarium air pumps and pump air into it as you leave it out for 24 hours, it brings a lot of oxygen into the water and is great for the plants.

floranova and floralnectar with some HB-101 someone gifted me. They LUVIT.I tested
the PH a few times but I'm in SoCALi the water is so buffered before you get it the ph
never seemed to hurt my girls, I haven't needed to test ph its always the same, maybe I have high-chlorine resistant weed, not. Good luck!

yup, let it sit for 24 hrs. so the chlorine evaporates. or, go to e-bay and search for a portable reverse osmosis water filter, that's what i use. you can screw it into your sink, use it and put it away. well worth the investment!!!

what is u use tap water but u have a Brita water purifier. is this better that just tap water.
