I have about 4.5 months total to grow I want everything out by the end of june ….but if I could do it in 90 days that would be great but I doubt it so give me some tips guys that have grown 1 pound plants …..i'll be growing in DWC for this with a scrog each area is 4x4 and i'll say 600 watt mh to veg and 600 watt hps for flower......plant strains are wonder woman . diesel glue and auroa

1lb plant wont happen in 4 months... 2 month veg minimum and heavy food if its dwc big container make it more then 20gallons like a 30gallon tough tote, easier to put it in a soil pot with super soil and feed it compost tea every other day (foliar style till 12/12 flip then put the tea in just the soil) and let her veg for 90 days then flower her out if you want a 1 pounder oh and dont forget molassess organic black strap and dry organic amendments for her too like green sand, bat guano, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, azomite powder every transplant, granular humic acids, some crushed oyster shells, and make the potting soil ocean forrest cant really go wrong and bout fool proof to make a 1lb plant but put it under a 600hps and a 600 mh mix the spectrum and give her lots of light, water everyday (you will get a feel for it)

3-4 month veg atleast imo, even that might be cutting it close and will depend on other variables.

I vegged 9 plants in a 4x4 for 54 days , that 4x4 was maxed out, but it was 9 plants and still 2 months veg. This was in COCO tho, so i expect your growth rate in DWC to be faster, but still gonna take some time.

I have a lemon diesel i vegged for 4 months in super soil she is 12/12 now (3days into bloom) and im expecting to pull close to 2lbs from her... i have been doing exactly what you want to do now for a while and the veg time is important and the longer the veg the bigger the plant but more importantly imo is what you feed the 1lb plant in full flower, she gets hungry and if you dont have everything she wants 1lb plant wont happen... in dwc growth will be quicker feed heavy though and use added co2

If your system is setup correctly I would be shooting for a 6-8 week veg. I currently veg for 3 weeks and see 1/2 pound plants routinely.
Wow. 3 week veg to achieve 1/2lbs plant? Not saying that it isn't possible but I would like to hear your set up to achieve that. What's your grow medium what lights do you use & what do you feed with? And most importantly what size pots do you use

agree with nurrgle,1lb plant not that hard but need to find right genetics, good light and environment 8 weeks veg max,in dwc they grow big and fast so plenty of food.

I suppose I should state that my clones will be in 4” for a couple weeks as well prior to moving into 7 gals full of Sunshine #4. They are fed using Kind through a drip system about 1 liter a day up until flip.

I use 1000w gravita de’s and run 8 plants per 4x8. Humidity, temps, etc are also all controlled.

Not a tough deal getting to 1/2 lb plants in a well built room, I would be wondering what was up if I wasn’t ready to flip in 4 weeks max. You could add two weeks for a clone sitting in the 4” nursery pot which makes sense. I was thinking veg time post transplant.

If your moms are healthy, your cloners are clean and functioning properly, and you hit your transplant times I don’t think it’s a stretch.

Fair enough. I won't doubt your methods sir.

Here is the lemon D 4 or 5 days into bloom, potting soil is ocean forrest, coast of maine stonnington blend, 100% worm castings and all my big 20 gal bloom pots get 15lbs of super soil... everything starts as a clone in a pete plug, then to a 1 gal, then to a 3 gal, then a 7 gal, then finally into the 20 gallon smart pot for bloom... i let the plant root bind in each container before uppotting to its next size (people may say there is no validity to this but a root bound plant uppotted to a container 3 times bigger will show you boosted root and veg growth like what you would see in dwc after changing the food and water in the res), the first 5lbs of super soil are amended into the 7gallon pot and the last 10lbs of it goes right into the bottom of the pot under the potting soil and boom big plant downside is super long veg time but if you ha e it timed properly you are still pushing these ladies out every 60 days with ladies on deck, i shoot for a 4 month veg minimum in soil... DWC will need less veg but id still push the veg out right to the max especially because you will be full RnD figuring out just how much to feed it and what it really likes... i just water and use dry granular amendments along the way either top dressed or mixed into my soil and the compost tea i foliar feed with every day in veg, once a week i water with tea both cycles veg and flower.

You need a high yielding strain. You can do it. Try a Sativa dominant hybrid. They grow into monsters.

In my experience 2-3 months veg time an 2-3 months flowering gives you more than enough time to produce 1lb+ plants.

I’m an outdoor grower but I can easily get plants to produce at this level with a total grow time of 5-6 months. I also stick with indica dominate strains to try to keep my grow time as short as possible while still giving the plant the time it needs to develop fully.
