How to water while away?

If you've got indoor plants in soil, what's the best way to make sure your plants have enought water while you're away? (In this case 4 or 5 days.)

do a rain dance? or just water them a good bit before you leave and they should be fine

That was pretty funny monday. I was thinking about the same thing since I might take a trip in Jan. (right around the last part of flowering..) Hopefully I will only be gone for a few days and then I will just water right before I leave and then when I get back.. I don't have any potential babysitters around.
