I see the wiring diagram but I dont understand where to but the wire caps at on the diagram for the 20$ econolight 150w hps build

I've got all the peices wired together, awaiting soldering...
but where does the copper ground wire go?
he doesn't mention wiring the 2 green wires together in the threat either..

I have the same one.
First, you buy or strip a normal electric cord. Then I used those little plastic electric screw on caps to connect the wires. This way there is no exposed wiring. I wouldn't suggest soldering them. And I just left the ground unconnected. Everything works fine, its a good light I just wish they had a 250W

why not buy 2 ? then ud have 300watts
but hook that ground wire up first

how do you connect the ground? green to green, and where does the copper wire that was in the original light fixture go?

originally there was a copper wire without insulation, in the orginal fixture that was used for ground
I'm supposed to put it on the screw of the project box, i just dont know where the other end connects.

Actually @ $20, this is a GREAT idea.why not buy 2 ? then ud have 300watts
but hook that ground wire up first
The diff between 1 and 2 150W is *very* noticeable. I just did a dual 150W grow. At the end, I only had a couple experimental plants (one, just as cute as a button!) and dropped one 150W for the experimental finish, and BIG difference in the amount of light.

lol, i see he never went back to answer questions on his post ... but the green should be connected to that copper wire. the green wire that comes for the cord thats plugged in.. not the one that goes to the light socket
