I'm not very experienced, but Lacy may be saying that it should be a bit larger with more growth at this point. From the looks of your pictures, the soil around your plant seems to be made of mostly clay. Clay is not a great place to plant, ever. Not enough drainage.

yeah that plant looks a bit small for a month. I would deffently reccomend buying either Fox farm ocean forest from a local hydro store, or just a organic soiil from walmart. Digging that clay out, and filling it with your soil. Plant should grow much faster if you do that.

yea that would prolly help. i was plannin on doin that exept putting in a pot.

it looks like ur doin an outside grow so im not goin to bag u for it bein tiny.u should end up with nice bud in the end.

If you want to transplant it into a pot with good soil, that will work as well. I would reccomend using a pot anywhere from 2-5 gallons.
