Nice! there is no stupid questions here from peolple that want to help, and not Flame=) it looks healthy keep it up bro...I would reccomend to be easy on the nutez at this stage and check daily... If something that was added to much it will show with in a few days.. Best advise I have been given just pay attention to what your doing, and see how it reacts to it in early stages this will make a difference in the long run..... Subed.. Looking Great!

Thanks for the input!

I'll keep posting pictures of her every few days.

I'm not looking to have a retarded huge plant or anything how long should I veg for? I was thinking somewhwere around 40-50 days?
should i go longer?

Hey bred, looking good man. For future reference, i would start out new little baby plants with 1/4 strength nutrients. Looking at your plant the way it is now, seems like the full strength mix, hasn't really hurt it. So stick with what you were doing. I would however, add your nute/water mix every other watering. You'll want to veg for 3-5 weeks. But ultimately you can switch it to flower whenever after 3 weeks.

What i would do in your shoes:
-Clean a bucket, suitable for catching rain water
-DO NOT use old rain water, wait for a fresh rain, catch some, and bring your bucket inside for storage.
-Use the rain water with nutrients
-Use just plain rain water to feed your babies
-Depending on where you live, the pH in rain water is perfect

Good luck bred!

Growth is only decided by your grow space my friend. You can veg as long as you like.

Plan ahead bearing in mind that most strains will double or treble in size during flowering.

Work out your height availability after lights hanging etc.

Don't overwater, let soil dry out between waterings.

Use proper ph tester and keep the Ph accurate at around 6.5 (always check after adding any nutes etc)

Where can i get a good PH tester for low cost?
i mean if the absolute cheapest one is crappy i dont mind spending a couple extra to get a better one but i also can't break the bank ha

Milkwaukie, Hanna over in States I think here I have ADWA

Any of those should be ok. You want digital pocket pen type, range usually between about 30 and 70 bucks I suspect, just check out ebay etc

edit. you will also want calibrating solution for before its first use, so may be good to order at same time ;-) you want the low and the high calibration fluids. (only about a buck a pack)

thinking about topping it

can anyone give me some detailed instructions on how?
Unless you have at least 3 sets of nodes I wouldn't do it yet. Carefully cut off the very top most set of nodes that you can clip cleanly. Wait one week, then repeat the process for 4 big kolas instead of 2. Check my grow to see how the four topping technique turned out in relation to other plants that weren't topped or only topped once.

Your plant looks healthy bro, your choice of nutes for now is fine. For extra veg nutes you can use espoma plant tone 5-3-3 when you transplant mixed into the dirt. I did, it worked real well. When you flower, if you wanna stay organic, use liquid bone meal 4-12-0 combined with unsulphured molasses for extra P. Or if you want a cheap chem fertilizer that works well use schultz 10-15-10 in combo with the molasses.

yes i can help .....................................Topping a marijuana plant
1. Locate the very top of your plant and cut through the main stem just below the newest growth. This should be done after the 3rd or 4th leaf set but can be done at any time after the 3rd leaf set.
2. Shows Plant Top cut off and where the 2 new Branches that will form a "Y" in the main stem will grow from.
3. Shows the newly topped plant after 2 days of growth, notice the Y in the Stem Forming.

imming a marijuana plant
Fimming is actually no different that topping, what fimming does is virtually the exact same thing only your leaving part of the new growth. This only takes of part of the new growth and actually topping the very very new growth which is very hard to see.
What this ends up doing is making it seem as if your getting 4 new tops right next to eachother when its actually only 2 at the very top (like topping) but since it was cut so closely to the next newest set of fanleaves 2 branches which would have formed there anyways seems to make it look like there is 4 new tops. Fimming can be easily performed on sativas (or any hybrids of sativa cannabis seeds crosses) as they tend to grow longer and less dense stems, which is usefull for such precise procedure..........1. Locate the very top of the new growth
.......2. With a clean sterilized scissors, Fold the fan leafs over and cut approximately 80% of the new growth off the plant.
....3. View from the top showing the Cut
...4. View of the Cut section after 2 days growth, showing the 4 new growth shoots (branches)

how about this:
i'm having trouble keeping the temp down in the closet.(usually it gets to be at the highest 88 degrees f) i currently have them vegging on a 24/0 light cycle would it hurt to have them put in an 18/6 cycle? i'm thinking that if i have the lights off for longer it might help keep the temp down? or would it really just be doing more harm than good? or would a 20/4 cycle be ideal? oooooor would changing the light cycle do anything at all? some thoughts?

not really a great deal of benefit there my friend, the temps are a bit high, strain dependent to a degree during those light hours still. I see your logic, stress them less but better to keep the light stead and get temps down somehow.

what is yer humidity like?
