HPS Broke... ok to use MH to flower??

My HPS Bulb is out, I ordered a new one, but could take 5-7 "business days" aka 2 weeks. My ballast is switchable and I have a Metal Halide bulb in right now. Is this ok for 2 weeks or should I go to the hydro store and buy a bulb stat?

I think you'll be ok to wait until your new HPS bulb arrives. With the MH bulb its still kinda good; its not like you switched to a single incandescent bulb for a week.

I have seen full metal hallide grows, you'll be fine.

some ppl recommend using in placemtn of hps citing the blue spectrrum seems to grow betta flowers

you will be fine, you get less lumens and the flowers will be smaller if you finish with MH but a few days will not be a issue

i wonder if using metal halide for the first few weeks of flower you could combat the stretching? if that is your desire
