So i have a http://www.amazon.com/Nanolux-Dimmable-Digital-Light-Ballast/dp/B00B5HZOSK ballast and i think this is the hood(reflector w/e) i have although i'm not sure (it looks the same) http://www.amazon.com/SPL-Horticulture-Dimmable-Vertical-Reflector/dp/B010U48P2A/ref=sr_1_11?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1460838373&sr=1-11&keywords=600w+metal+halide+reflector

My question is my MH bulb burnt out last night and i don't think i can get another till thursday so can i put in a 600w HPS bulb? The ballast says it works for both the ballast is a 600w (MH and HPS) but i'm not so sure about the fixture (lamp) i looked all over on the fixture but i couldn't find a brand name or anything other than a s/n so i'm not sure if it is meant to work for both i bought it about 2-3 years ago so i'm not sure.

hps has more lumens than mh, so I don't really see any issue. I do veg with both spectrums.
