hps cermic bulbs real red and focusing uv out
I want to get ideally 600-670nm the most out of that for health benefits not growing plants.
this bulb has a great spectrum. My question is there anyway to block out the remaining uva that a a health concern. I know the bulbs have special coating to block uvc and the glass itself in the bulb should block uvb but what about Uva? I was thinking is there a way to dim it to give it a warmer temperature focusing more red and orange and less uv? I know they can only be dimmed 50% but can hps cermic bulbs be dimmed and what effect does it have on color temperature? What other ways are there to block uv ideas?
thanks
