Hps help

I was wondering about hps. I see all these different wattages. My question is how big do I need? I'm doing a small walkin closet with 8-10 plants. I know they get really hot and that's what concerns me with the huge 600 and 1000 hpses. I have 3 dual fan box fans in the floor pulling air in from my crawl space and two at the top of the closet blowing into a 4" duct to a window. Is that enough ventilation for an hps. I currently use 3 hanging flouresents and 12 smaller ones lining the three walls.

To use a larger hps you will need venting for the light itself if you are growing in an enclosed area, as I sense you are.
