HPS MH?

Hay i jusy had my 400 watt MH bulb go out and i cant get a replacement shiped here for 1 wk. would it be better to dig out my 400 HPS light or one of my 250 MH to keep stretch down till my new bulbs get here.

MH for veg and HPS for flowering.... Make sure your ballast in convertable. Some are only for one type of bulb. In your case since u dont have your 400 MH, and you can use your HPS 400 all the way, it stronger.

thinks for your replays but did you read the post? I build and sell ballast on ebay i know all about them. i have vegged my girls under 400 watt MH for 3mo and almost ready to go into flower in 2 wks. just wanted to know if i do the last two wks of veg with a 400 HPS will it cause much stretch before i put it into flower in witch it will enter the 2wk stretch. or should i pull out some of my 250 MH to put on them. i have enough to do 2 250 MH per plant but i only have enough to do 1 400 HPS per plant. i have them under the 400 hps now.
