HPS or MH for veg?

Hi everyone, I’m currently running dual spectrum 250w hps, still in seedling stage and i was wondering if anyone had a good experience with those during veg or should i get a 250w MH?

Any input will be much appreciated

You can veg under HPS but you wont get much blue light so your plants might stetch more and you might have more internodal space

If it's not gonna be a burden to use MH, it's definitely beneficial in veg over HPS

Well worth getting a MH bulb for veg.

If i want to flower my plants in 11L pots and i can fit 4 of those pots in my tent (2x2x5”), will they be overcrowded?

Depends on veg, but more than likely...plants stretch for first two-three weeks, so bear that in mind.

If you flip the light schedule to 12/12 for flower when they're no more than 8-12" tall, you'll probably be pretty able to handle it if have to think.

Maybe i will try some LST to keep em low and even.
