Don't know whether this is in the right section, but this is affecting the well-being of my plants right now as their light cycle is being interrupted...
Anyway, on to the problem...
Well, I just finished converting my grow chamber to a flowering setting, with a 150w HPS. I bought a ballast off of eBay and installed it according to all the diagrams I've seen. When I go to turn on the bulb, the bulb does not light, all that happens is some lightning on the inside of the bulb with some buzzing noises as if the bulb was trying to light, but no ignition. I've double checked all of the wiring and it seems to be okay. My plants have been in the dark for over 15 hours bc of this problem. I need to fix this ASAP.
