Go for a sun system 1000wt switchable balast. It will run both the mh and hps. I use this system mh for veg and hps for flower. You can get it sent to you from green coast hydroponics for $350.00

I dont think you REALLY need a MH light , if your growing 2 rooms and a good amount of plants then yeah.

I veg and flower under my 600w hps and man seriously the growth you would lose if any is minimal in my opinion.

If any thing your better off having a little clone setup under a cfl and then 2 weeks veg and off you go.

If your going to buy a brand new light at the VERY MINIMUM get a 600w hps, your going to the trouble of doing a setup so do it right.:hump:

good luck n keep us posted , btw what strain are you growing and what setup ?

Honestly, my experience with HTG wasn't that good. They sent the light out quickly, but there was basically no packaging and I guess it was banging around the whole trip because when I opened it the reflector was dented and cracked. The good part was I had no problem returning it for a full refund though. So hopefully it was just a rare oversight.

I got mine in perfect shape, with styrofoam packing that fit the light perfectly. there were a few fingerprints on the bulb though(WTF?!) I'm glad I saw them and wiped them off before I turned it on.
