Huge NOOB! Need Some Opinions.

Hey everybody,

This is my first post on here and I need some help... Basically I want to know if its a good idea to harvest now or possibly soon?

Here are some quick notes for you:


  • This plant is about 4 months old
  • My very FIRST grow
  • 100% Organic grow
  • Grown on Long Island, NY (Northeast)
  • FOXFARM Soil
  • Grown from random Bagseed

looks to me like it still has some time yet,,unless your in a hurry...from what i can see the pistol tips are going brown which im told its natural,and they will kinda shrivel in and swell up the bud,,i would give it 3weeks..they are kinda looking like mine and i hoping to get another 3 1/2 weeks..

Congrats thts a successful 1st grow. Gonna be a nice harvest for you. But yea prolly got 2-3 weeks left just keep an eye on those pistils once they're all curled into the bud they're about done.

You'll prolly get close to a zip. It looks like some dank stuff there too. Your gonna be smokin' lovely!

Nice dude! Yea to me it looks like ur lookin at a good O Zone nd maybe another 1/8th. Idk never can really say till they're dry. You'll be a happy camper for a week or so!

Your plant looks great. Very nice leaf fade going on, It's gonna be tasty! I think you'll pull off about two ounces. It will weigh less after you dry. As for you question on harvesting, drying, and curing... check out this thread for some of the best organic Dank end product. Here's the link:

Again, you look golden to me just be patient and let her swell up nice and fat before you chop. patience is a virtue and you will not regret the wait when you're somking the best herb you've had in your life! +rep
