Humidifier and PH

Well i recently started to use a humidifier in my tent and really just wondering what you all think about PHing the water , right now my RO system is giving me water thats 7. should i ph this water down to 5.8 before putting it into the humidifier or will the ph in the water not effect the plants?

So ! i discovered something, Turns out my humidifier PH did matter, Mainly because it was dripping out the tube into one of my pots and fcked the ph in the soil. i started to notice the one of the plants just was not doing well. i decided to ph test the soil and it came back as 7.5, the other pots are all right around 6-6.1. so I phed the water and flushed the soil hope she recovers.

Why do you have the humidity tube, going to one of the containers? That's the worst place you could put it. Put a container in for humidity runoff.

well im going to blame it on inexperience with using a humidifier in grow tents first time using one i was thinking about putting it inside the tent instead of tubing it in but i was just trying to maximize my space. I have tried a lot of different configurations on how to get it into the tent and top down gave me the most steady readings. but it create a drip. i did at first try to catch it with a small container but it was splashing a lot and i dont have anything on hand that was deep enough to avoid that. so i ended up just letting it drip into one of the 5 gallon pots. but i am actively looking on amazon for a container that will fit.

What kind of humidifier are you using?

Can you adjust the amount of air exchange and let the plants add humidity to the tent instead of using the humidifier.

I was able to move things around and got another 5 gallon bucket in their for now im now dripping in.

Honestly.....it's been my experience that playing with PH can really help boost plant. From one end to other it almost forces plant to utilize what it can and then gears it up to be very responsive. The one that temporarily struggled may surpass the others. Just never let it get to far off too long. Plant will tell you.
