Humidity and whorled phyllotaxy

just started my first grow 15 years after my first try. Man things have changed! I got some quality autoseeds, they’ve germinated and are planted in their forever homes in soil. I have two things I’d like some feedback on. First is one of them (out of two), has three seed leaves and as far as I can tell, 3 true leaves. (I’ve attached a pic). I’ve seen some say it’s a blessing and some say it’s doomed to be a male or hermie. Thoughts or experiences? Second, I’m having a hard time with humidity in my 25”x25” tent. I have two 3 gallon pots that have plenty of moisture in them at around 78 degrees, sprayed a bit of water on the bottom, and even hung a moist towel from the top frame. I would think at that temp that the moisture would evaporate with the higher temp, but no matter what I do my temp and moisture are constantly inverse. What am I missing?

Really thought those autos were for guerilla growers out of doors. Good luck anyway. Just be careful spraying water around to fix things. You will fix yourself some happy mold when the sugars about.20180220_075920.jpg

That seedling is just a trifoliate and is quite common. It will grow out of it. It’s not whirled phyllotaxy or triploid.

I've seen the 3 leaf seedlings grow out fine but I haven't had one. I did have twins last grow and I cut the smaller of the two and grew it out. It was a runt compared to the other plants of the same strain. For RH, have you tried a cool mist humidifier? You're best off having RH at least 60% for veg IMO. The other thing that could cause low RH is a powerful extraction fan running at high speed.

Yup, I ordered one yesterday that will come tomorrow. It runs at a specific % so I won’t have to mess with it except for refills. Also I do have an extractor running on low, got the temp dialed in so I needed something extra for the RH. Should be back on track tomorrow night.

Growing autos bc I haven’t had any sources in months. So I’m taking advantage of the express lane option, plus I have a very small house with a very small closet. It’s just my circumstances. I only sprayed a small amount as an experiment, don’t worry, not planning on growing in a swamp. I hate how people feel the need to be so judgey around here.
