Unless you have an endless supply of ice that will too be costly replacing ice every other day or so. 6 months grow time. Plus fighting down south summer heat. You gotta think 100• and 100% humidity bowing on the top of that ice will make it melt quick. I thought of that mysef

In AZ when the power goes out for a long time, or if overworked AC burns up in summer ive made these. They work well. You will need 6 gallon jugs. 3 in 3 on deck.

Depending on how fast gallon jugs melt keep 2-3x the amount you need. The freezer is always freezing so you can cycle jugs. Its more work for sure though.

For
1. I have a Deep freezer I can simply refill milk jugs etc with tapp water freez them and rotate them out when they thaw out simply stick them back in the freezer. As well as a huge ice chest Simple
2. I have a 30 pint digital home lab
Dehumidifier that will take care of my humidity.
This is the idea iam going to modify the concept a bit but that's the answer I was looking for

I find it to be the most rewarding to fashion a fix over buy one. It gets you closer to your craft. I also have a family anf have to stay on budget.
