Humidity--help!

Hey all, I need some advice on my humidity/temp situation. I run 3 rooms. A 4x4.5 clone/mother room, a 6.5x6.5 veg tent, and a 6.5x6.5 flower tent. My issue is my clone room. In it there is 2x 4 bulb T5s. For air I have 250cfms in and 250 cfm's out (6" duct/inline fans). The humidity under the lights (hydrometer is in one of the plant pots) will not climb above 60%. I currently have a humidifier running in the room and 2 6" clip fans moving air. The temp stays rather consistent around 78F or so. I've read multiple times that in this stage of growth humidity should be more in the 70-80 range. Any thoughts, experiences or advice would be more than appreciated, happy growing and thanks in advance!

put your clones in a humidity dome. and spray ounce/twice daily. keeps humidty above 80%.
Thanks, good info! My clones/seedlings are in a dome now, it's the overall room (where the mothers reside) that's my issue. Temps stay around 77-79 but humidity tops out around 60% while running a humidifier. :-/

Any possibility of turning the fans down? Sounds like the air may be exhausting too quickly, taking the humidity with it

Hmmmm, you may be on to something here! Turning fans down would be difficult where they are inline with no speed settings, however, I could add some intake power? Would this have the same effect? Thanks a lot for the advice bud! (No pun intended)

heres what i do. not sure if it will work for you. you said clone/mmother room? why not put your mothers with veg and keep clones by themselfs. both need verry different enviroments/ lighting needs/ ect. for example clones need VERY little light or air fow high humidity/ heat. mothers really just need to be ain a good veg growth. or just scrap your mothers and take clones off vegging plants.?? its good to top most strains anyway.

My clone room is a storage room under my basement staircase, just keep door open and half of my 4bay t5's no fans, just good old humidty domes with reptile cage heat matts. Works great for me and im banging out 12-16 clones a month. you can even use regualr old t8s for propagation and some people say the less intense light is better at this stage. Try new things expeirnent. Find what works for you! good luck

Just to verify, you run 2 out of the 4 bulbs in your 4 bay for the clones? No fans and a heat pad?

yulp somtimes if super full ill click on other two butt for most part just run half. and yes no fans and heat mat. one thing is after your clones start to show new growth i open up the vents on top of dome to let small amounts of air flow.
