humidity prob

I have a prob with humidity i am in veg at the moment growing in a 8ft x 4ft tent temp 87 humidity is 35 per/cent it should b much higher question how can i raise the humidity in the room ? air inside the tent feels dry or should i say moisture in the air any help please folks cheers

Cheapest is a wick system.

A bucket of water, dangle a hand towel from the roof of your tent with a few inches of the towe in the bucket of water. Water will be drawn up the towel, heat evaporates water, humidity up.

Well if you can get your temps lower in your tent you humidity would drop some. Im not sure how much but it would help to have lower temps. Do you or can you get access to a humidifier?

cheers for that geez when lights are off temp is 66 to 68 humd 40 per cent when lights are on temp is 86 to 88 and humidity is 34 to 36 per cent my tent is in in a bedroom the tent backs on to a open window where air is drawn in but the window is only slightly open air is pushed out from bedroom door up to loft space i have put a bucket of water in there but not with a towel hangin from it but i will defo try that plants are now just over 12 plus inches nearl ready to flick to flower so they are under 600 w light thats prob why temp is a bbit high but gonna try your way bro will keep you in formed cheers

Ya need to get those temps down, too high. Sounds like you need to duct your inlet right upto the open window and try to seal it so it only draws fresh cool air in. I am running 3 x 600w and ticking over at 74 degrees during the day, 60 at night.

Actually, colder air cannot hold as much water vapor as warmer air. Thus, as temperature decreases, the relative humidity will increase, and likewise, as temperature increases, the relative humidity will decrease. All this assumes no water vapor is added or subtracted from the air.

TL/DR: Cooling your room raises RH %.. It's a double bonus.

Have you lads been having fun with the infrared dibblecopter down there, it's always floating around north london and caught a good few recently.

yea fella they are constantly buzzin over try not to take to much notice coz then my paranoia sets in normally get them between 12 midnight and 3 ish to b honest seems to me they are lookin for the big boys me im just a hobby man like my smoke hate paying 25 notes for 2 grams thats a fuckin liberty fella i do have a couple of tents on the go typical that my other tent is ok no probs sometimes it does my nut in when theres a prob that i have trouble solvin but shit appens
