it's a 4x4 grow tent ,400 mh ,4 plant aeroponics.1 fan for circulation.another fan fresh air ,an exhaust fan .not sure what caused it too jump so much so fast.hopefully thats enough info.

as plants put out more foliage their transpiration rate goes up as they release moisture into the air have you seen a growth spurt which could account for your increased RH?.

60% isnt too much of a problem as long as you have good air circulation.

Something which i have seen that increases RH is exhaust ventilation forming condensation in the ducting and it drips back into the room. Have you checked this at all?

If you have a speed control on ur fan turn it up to get more air circulation and maybe even look on craigslist.com for a cheap de-humidifier. good luck

has it gone down yet?

it's at 70% today, everything else looks fine.i guess i'll just have to keep an eye on it.i was'nt sure if the plants are telling me anything.i'm trying to hold back a couple more days before flowering.i just hope i dont mess anything up.1 of my soil plants shot up a couple inches since i last posted.fingers crossed.

i would start looking at your ventilation exhaust ducting etc.

if you happen to be running your ducting out through a cold attic etc then the warm moist air passing through cold areas of ducting creates condensation, just like blowing on a cold window would. This condensation, could be forming in your ducting and coming back into your room.

get checking now because any higher RH and your filter will be less effective .
