Humidity

high humidity during the first few weeks of veg is a real good think. I've seen some vids where they recommend the humidity being around 80% for veg and then being no more than 50 during flowering. If you want the humidity to be higher water temp has to be higher than room temp, to lower it the room has to be higher temp than the water.

during the veg stage, it is believed that high humidity helps produce more females, I'll see if I can find the info on it.

Dutch Passion Seed Co. published an environmental manipulation,

From literature and our own findings it appears that the growth of a male or female plant from seed, except for the predisposition in the gender chromosomes, also depends on various environmental factors. The environmental factors that influence gender are:

* a higher nitrogen concentration will give more females.
* a higher potassium concentration will give more males.
* a higher humidity will give more females.
* a lower temperature will give more females.
* more blue light will give more females.
* Fewer hours of light will give more females.

It is important to start these changes at the three-pairs-of-leaves stage and continue for two or three weeks, before reverting to standard conditions.

Wow... That is interesting.. I have all of the above and have jsut switched to flowering. I will let you know how many of my 11 are F and how many are M.

My room is at about 41% is that a good number? Or shoud i higher, or lower... Thanks for all the info guys, really being helpful.
