Hey guys I'm having some problems with my humidity levels . I'm flowering in week 4 and my humidity is at 60% with lights on and higher when lights off .I'm not sure if I'm just worrying too much or if it is a problem . I'm running 6 600 vented hoods with 4 4x8 trays but since it's winter the intake fan builds up water as if it's sweating from the cold air at nite when lights are on . I'm bringing in fresh air from outside I have a dehumidifier and using heaters at night to dry the Air . Is 60% humidity bad ? Will it lower the yield or just the threat of gettin mold ??????:leaf:

It's a tad high in flowering, the risk is mold, nothing else. You mention a de-humidifier but it likely runs in the room and can't keep up, are you exhausting anything outside? Have had a similar issue in winter, exhausting outdoors solved it. Didn't have a second outdoor vent, so put a Y adapter where my incoming air is, then run cycles that don't conflict with the other (e.g. 10 min exhaust every 1/2 hr, balance of the time inline fan pulls cold air in (my free air conditioning :)

Get a second dehumidifier. My cab stays at 50 year round and i have grown very decent crops. With lower humidity resin production will increase and that should help create a more potent product. If you want the best of the best try to hit those 30%-40% numbers. If not you should still be able to get 15-20% THC content.(stain/phenotype depending)

edit: lower humidity will increase yields not greatly but with increased resin production comes some weight. Also eliminate any standing water in the room. Keep it dry as you can.

Turn off your intake when plants are asleep. Alternate exhaust and intake when lights are on. You are most likely bringing in outside humidity. If that doesn't work. Then get higher cfm fans. Air exchange alone should solve the problem.

use vented hood and insulated ducting . 60% and 6 x 600 watts you are setting yourself up for nice long crying session. That's a lot of light I wouldnt want to ruin that much weed!! You must do something about it 60% at lights on is not acceptable!! Good luck!

Personally I use LEDs and fresh air from upstairs in the house is used, I run 2 dehums 24-7 and my little grow heats most of my house, no fresh air from outside. I understand with your hps though they get so hot that's why I recommended vented hood and have the venting of your lights and the venting of room on 2 different system.
