thanks man sounds like a good idea. do they hook to the pcv or aquarium tubing? and in a tub that siz how many would i need and what size. thanks wheels
just rock the 2 stones with about a 7 ltr air pump and u will be good. at walmart they have 6 inch long flat stones that work pretty well. or a couple smaller nice round ones will do the trick. they attach to the air lines. just fill ur tub up enough to submerge the bottom of the cuttings. oh and get a roll of duck tape to wrap ur tub so the light doesn't hit the roots works wonders. also look into beneficial bacteria and rooting concentrates. they will boost the numbers that survive drastically. ill check back later if u have questions.

thats the same system Ive had problems with ! First run was great. After that shitty success ratio. I cleaned it thoroughly ,changed water every few days , and Sprayers got clogged, and about 1/3 was rooting.
i dont change my water until after they root. just keep topping it off with ph'd tap water. normally takes 11 days max depending on the strain. some only take 6 days to root.

petsmart sells round stones, 3'',4'', and 6';. they are the ass of the cat, if I so may say. Superthrive added 3-5ml per gallon can help a strong strain root in 3-5 days; I used to veg only those that had established in less that 5 days and threw the others away.

Agreed to light on roots; roots grow underground, they hate hate HATE light. black out your tubs, buckets, pots, etc, and paint a flat white over the blackness for reflection, better lighting, and cooler water temps.

my sm tub was clear. i had my veg plants in front of the lite and the clear box behind them. with limited light they gre like hell. i had ble berry root in 5-7 days and u could watch the roots grow almost. when i put it in brighter lite i had to put some black poly over it. but i switched out for the bigger tub and its grey i think. thanks for all advice guys.

I tried not changing the water for a minute, just adding water and nothing. Figured the water was no good so i changed it . First time ever was a success , after that was downhill..are you guys replacing the foam inserts every now and then?

with the DWC, do you submerge the stem of the clone..about how much? then when it starts to root do you raise it and let the air stone mist the water up to the roots or just leave it submerged?

I was just going to make a smaller flood tray, but I'm thinking the mist might be better for the clones..or does it even matter. maybe Ill do try both side by side.
