Hurricane Irene - NO PWR now for37 hrs - 11 plants - What are my chances?

Hello community.. Havin' issues. I've now been without pwr at my house for 37 hrs and I'm getting pretty worried for my babies! I'm not at my house but about to drive that way to try and repair an old generator now that the trees have been cleared. I'm asking for your best foresight to what I'm going to need to do now since this has disrupted my schedule and my chances of them surviving. Here's my list of what I have:

- 3 unknown tall (3.5 ft) vegged for 8 weeks under 24 hrs (5 gallon pots)
- 2 unknown mid (2.5 ft) vegged for 7 weeks under 24 hrs (3 gallon pots)
- 1 unknown small (1.5 ft) vegged for 7 weeks under 24 hrs (1 gallon pot)
- 3 EasyRyder at 2 weeks under 24 hr (3 gallon pots) auto
- 1 Mody Dick & 1 Pineapple Express at 2 weeks under 24 hr (3 gallon pots) non-auto
** unknows taken from pretty good recent bags

Ok.. what are my chances if I get light restored in say under 48 hrs? To me, of course a strong flowering signal is for sure sent to the old ones so I gotta roll with it but what else should I do? The young ones... will easyryder pick back up where it left off? How is this affecting the young non-autos? I'm a first timer and never expected this in my research. Emergency help please!

Note: We lost pwr at 5am Sat morning.. the night before around 11pm I watered them very good and added Mircle grow 10 - 10- 10.

can you put them outside during the daylight hours? they should be fine they will stretch plenty without the light.

get a high powered flashlight and keep blasting them in 15 minute bursts every 4-5 hours. It'll act like a light leak. The worst thing is that they won't grow as much but if they go into flowering then you might get screwed.

I'm not worried as much after the older ones going into flowering as much since they were only practice for the ordered seeds I planted. What about the young ones though?

your fine there in vegging.
I conducted a experiment with a ez cloner before. Were i left 8 banana kush clones in it for 3 weeks. Water running and everything just no lights. Except the little window i made in the room for ambient light.
3 weeks later i check on them they all rooted and even grew a few inches. Stretched like hell but certainly did grow.
So your fine don't trip ;)

When I was in NC during the hurricanes. I was more worried about the shit in my fridge and freezer than my plants.

I felt your pain, I live right where the hurricane came through near Philadelphia. My power went on Saturday night at 9:30 pm. I was in panic mode.. I have 2 unknowns at 5 weeks flower in DWC and a shit load of clones that had rooted and just been put into my DWC in my veg area. I checked all the big stores, Lowes, Hemp Depot, all were sold out of generators already. They had a few, but all were over 2 grand.....I stopped at my Dad's to borrow his, which he already lent out to my nephew. Got lucky when my Dad's neighbor (a stoner) came out to say high....He lent me his 3500w generator. Got it home, re-arranged all the plugs and everything else that must have electric, started the bitch up....3 minutes later, power came back!!!! Total time out was almost 23 hrs, I tore the black poly off my windows and let the outside light pour into my grow room. Although the sunlight never actually touched the plants, just the ambient light seemed enough. Put all the plugs back to were they belonged. 1 Hr later, lights out by digital timer. Went to bed at midnight, only to discover that for some unknown reason, the light in my flower tent had fired up again!!! FUCK......Rest the timer, put the girls back to sleep. This morning, lights on at 8 like normal. 20 minutes in, power spike!!!! Lights out for 20 minute bulb cool down. Refired. Now I just sit and wait to see if there's been any damage or disruption in the cycle...

Also, I'm happy to report that I saved all my plants too... ran off generator for a while but the plants ended up loving it! Of course 6 of them started to flower so I'm rolling with it. Discovered a big male from the unknowns and chopped him down. It's crazy how removing 1 big plant can make all of the plants in your room grow.. freeing up light I imagine.

I will upload pictures tonight so ya can meet the girls!

I was right there with ya man. You realize how much you can lose and then the worry kicks in. Esp sitting around not being able to do anything about it! Your story is much like mine! I spent Sunday night restoring an old generator.. banking off luck considering the thing hadn't been used since Hurr. Floyd in '99. To my amazement after replacing all fluids and cleaning... it fired up and ran perfect the whole time. Thank you Dayton for making a quality product! And since it was a 3300 WATT genny (Hall Pass is hilarious) .. a 400 watt light wasn't taking too much. Mine when through about 48 hrs of darkness before I was able to give it 6 hrs light the first night.. second night I got in 8 hrs.. and then next night I started them on 12/12 starting at 6pm - 6am. Now they look better than ever (to me lol). I'm going to upload pics tonight.. I really wanna know if I'm looking at.

Alright people... meet the crop.. I almost should start a new thread for this but here are some pics I took tonight before any trimming or maint. So be easy on the criticism people! LOL But please really.. ANY advice is warranted!
