They didn't have any weed so they went out smoking any leaf they could get their hand on. Well they came across one of the most toxic plants in the US, and they didn't know it so it killed them. Desperate I tell ya.

Most desperate people learn about opium lettuce, that looks a lot like almost all the random weeds that will grow in your yard and they go out and start to smoke random shit and wind up poisoning themselves, at least whip cream and alcohol are easy to get.
