If you used a 50 gallon bucket, Co2 and hydroponics with a 1000w MH, how long would it take to grow a 25-foot plant?

I have a room with a 20 foot ceiling, it was originally used as art room restoration where they stored paintings. It's basically a basement, except it's underneath the house and has its own humidistat. It's current fitted out as a bedroom. If you walked in you'd be like holy shit. It's got a 82" Plasma flat screen TV on the wall surrounded by leather sofas that cost $2K each. Behind it is a 150-foot pool with a jacuzzi around the corner. It's got glass sliding doors to a second entrance to the pool & Jacuzzi, with a jacuzzi bathtub and shower inside a cement closet near the sliding glass doors. The wood floors are sparsly carpeted to reflect the gleam of the fluorescent gym lights above. On one side of the room, white for normal everyday; On the other side of the room, 40w blacklights: 2 lights, with 4 fluorescent tubes in each. The bed is rediculous, its a tempedic king size double padded temperpedic mattress with a mosquito net that hangs down from the ceiling. Behind the headboard are two wardrobes that can be customly fitted to stretch to the top of the ceiling. Inside are two buckets: Both are 50+ gallons containing 3 parts soil, 1 part perlite, 1 part vermiculite, and 4 tablespoons soil post per gallon. The sides of the bucket have been drilled with a 1/2" drillbit and surrounded by a plastic mesh screen to trap the soil but allow water and air to pass through. The medium is fluffy and has been fitted with 4 bath sponges with slotted air-hose that connect to a 20w air pump, 10 seconds on every 3 minutes. Every 2 weeks / 2 1/2 weeks the plants are not topped but fimmed. Plants are given PH'ed (6.5) RO water with superthrive once a week. Once a month they are given a dose of Iguana Juice (Advanced Nutrients), and are flushed once a month. The bottoms of the wardrobes are cut and a 10 gallon resivoir-style flat tub used to collect run-off is placed underneath both buckets, with a water pump that pumps the waste into more easily movable buckets.

turn the tv's to a channel showing the sun, they'll get huge in no time :D

on a serious note, i would really love to see you pull it off, but i think you're going to need a few more 1k's.

No offense hippie dude, but with that kinda dough you either robbed a cartel drug lord or should really consider changing your name to YuppieMan.
You really should post pictures of your lair.

Previously I was trying to grow one plant with a 600w HP and managed to get it to about 6 feet. It was my first grow, but only made it to 5 weeks flowering before I had to cut it down because it was simply taking up too much space.Something I've learned is that HID lights give off some serious heat, and I'm in a tropical country where heats are already really high! So I'll be going down the water-cooled lights technology, I've already bought a 1/10 HP water chiller with a 30 gallon water resivoir that will be used alongside two Hydroflectors and water piping, including a no-flow NO-GO mechism to really fool proof and make sure I'll only have to fool around with it about once a week..

The room has been outfitted specially in the past with like 25-amp wires or something, I didn't really catch what the electrician was saying at the time but pretty much all the outlits are sitting on top of like another outlit and its like ultra heavy duty. You could power a nuclear reactor in here.

stays relevant.
If you could do it, the bottom will be very very thin, and ultimately probably wouldn't be able to support the height...

Growtech,
What if I were to grow each plant with like 1 hydroflector from the top, since I'd be able to get the reflectors to about 4"-6" of the plant tops with a 1000W. I'd use those new 1000w bulbs that are both HPS and MH in the same bulb, don't really know the whole details I just know it cost over $200 and said it had both HPS and MH, along with a remote lumitek ballast that blasts out an additional 20% light, then as the plants became bushier and bushier with each fimming I could use, say, a 150w or 400w to light the underside of the plant, or the sides?

one 5' plant cost me 1800w of light, and i had two dark sides.... 1kw above, 400w on each side.

you will need more lighting.

You could do it outdoors with aero probably. In Cali...
In full sun, on the best year.

To grow that big indoors would take at least three 1kw lights minimum and wouldn't yield that well but would be impressive as hell.

But I don't think your plant is going to survive because you'll just be keeping that soil waterlogged and the plant will soon die. You can't do it that way, if you want a 25' tall plant make up some sort of straight up monster aero system capable of supporting massive weight and able to tie up the branches, and ditch the dirt.

Get all the lights you need, get a sativa, and give it a year.

I bet it is possible on your budget.

OregonMeds,

The medium won't become waterlogged with controlled waterings and the air pump. If the air pump fails, the plant fails. Because the container is so large I use 4 sponges instead of one, with a four-nozzle quadruple-diaphramn air pump. The sponges, which act sort of like a lung, expand and expel air throughout the medium based on how often the pump comes on, in my case 10 seconds every 3 minutes. The time can be turned on manually or timed faster or slower based on how moist the medium is. At times the plants will appear waterlogged, with drooping leaves but after the lunges go they'll quickly jump back up.

It's the same method that Natmoon used and his final buds were riduculous, like huge hairy long swords, from tip to bottom all hairy clustered dense nugs, every branch, every single internode on the entire plant was filled.
