HYBRID'S Jack The Ripper + Bubba Kush

Thanks guys I'm very excited for both of these plants. The nugs that got knocked off were great once dried. The taste is fruity on the inhale and exhale, the stone was very indica obviously. I remember now all the pot naps I took when Kush was around.... Not my favorite smoke, but good none the less.

So they Bubba Kush has put on some weight at last! The lighting is terrible so I'll try for pics another day. The buds have swelled to the width of my shitty ancient camera though so I'm pretty pleased. I give her till Oct. 10th or so at the latest. The buds I took from the lower snapped branches had some amber on them already, very couchlock at the end.

The real exciting news is that my indoor is officially up and running! The first one up is the JTR, who smells like sourpatch lemon gummy worm and something rancid.... I can't put my finger on just yet, but my gf says pukeThe resin has made an appearance already as well! She is around two weeks in so this is some under age bud pron(if you dig that sort a thing). The 400hps is now cooled by a S&P 150cfm fan. I love it, it was well worth the extra $$. The 350cfm vortex was too loud and moved way too much air for stealth, but someday I'll use both hehehehe. Temps during the day are at 70-72 degrees at the canopy 3-4 inches under the glass, and at night it goes down to 60-63. So I have pics of the JTR but again it is cloudy and there is no source of good indoor light, so until then all i got is the yellow tinged shots under the HID, sorry bout that I'll take better quality pics further down the road. In the mean time, I will call this girl "lemon-puke" as nothing else really describes it. I still have 6 beans of JTR left to unlock more phenos.
Sub if you read this, I dig this plant already. I'm thankful the carbon filter is on b/c this baby smells something beautiful

It will come bro... It takes a couple grows that is for sure... a year ago I couldnt grow worth shit... Now a year later, im doing alot better...

Thanks nate, it seems your the only one sticking around for this grow and that's fine by me. I got a few shots of the Bubba before I came in for the night. It looks about two weeks shy of a harvest, I'm just now seeing a few amber heads here and there. here's a pic of that bud that's drying that got taken off a little while back.

thanks venom, this was my first test run with Sub's Super Soil. I used FFOF & LW instead of Roots Organic, but I'm still very happy with the smell and overall appearance of the buds. I give all credit to that dirt, b/c thus far it is definitely the best smelling/looking herb I've done yet.

and Nate. I'll do the smoke report in a few weeks on that nug I pulled. It's drying, then getting jarred for a few weeks first.

The Bubba has been harvested and dryin for around 4.5 - 5 days as of now. The plant had lower buds that were not fully developed, but the lollipop looking tops were showing me some amber here and there. I would have let her go another week to get really reallly faded, but the weather that was coming was trouble. The bugs also took a liking to the lower buds and I wanted to chop my bigger colas before they were eaten ( I didn;t want to spray anything this close to harvest). The dry weight as of now is a barely more than an ounce, so in the yield dept. this plant is not real good. The smell is good however, and after a few weeks in jars the taste will be great. I was over all unimpressed with the GHS version of this plant, but it was a freebie, so I'm not really hurt with free bud. Now it's time for the new beans to get poppin! Pics of harvest coming soon

Ok, so some updates are in order on my part LOL.
First the Bubba Kush Harvest pics....
Remember, I harvested about 12 days too early IMO. I didn't plan to harvest then so naturally No shots of the actual "chop" the pic posted was the last one before harvest about a week earlier. I did take some pics of it fresh out of the jar after a total of 11 days.
The Good news: I've smoked a lot of people out with it and they all liked the taste and buzz. They all say the taste is like a sweet-piney, yet subtly fruity too. I would agree. The buzz is almost instant for me and it is that crippling Kush body stone every time. I tend to only smoke this kind of stuff at night. Yield was a miniscule 1.7 ounces, but it is all for personal use so it's not terrible. GHS's description of this bud was wayyyyy off.
But, at least I didn't buy a pack moving onto JTRII

So the JTR that has been budding for about three weeks now had to be pulled
She was DANK already and the smell was a sour lemon/cherry cough syrup smell that sticks to your fingers after you touch it and tingles your nose. I was sad to see she was trans-gendered. IT was not her fault I might add. This plant was outside its whole life, but was only started in sept. A 12/12 from seed experiment outdoors. I brought her indoor, but for security reasons had to flip her photoperiod to opposite of what it was outside. Needless to say she threw big ole seeds out at me. I knew it would happen, but I had to follow rules She is drying now as I type. And will probably make a few great edibles

My two Pandora's Box have germinated, as Did one Vortex seed out of the two. I am running four inside so the other Vortex has to germ quick or risk being replaced with another seed, most likely Chernobyl. Pics of the alfalfa later on Now that I know there is light time restrictions I can make this grow the good one! No more bullshit

Thanks man, but I pretty much had to ruin that JTR. It was the dankest plant I've ever seen at 2.5-3 weeks in. I still got 6 more of em to pop too, but for now I got the Vortex, Pandora, Agent O, and Chernobyl to run inside. I trust they will go well now that I had to use the JTR as a guinea pig for this set-up
