(Hydro) changing water during flowering stage?

I'm just starting week 7 of my flowering stage for AK47. Looks really nice. Probably another 3 full weeks to go before I harvest.

Question: Should I change my water and refresh with new water and nutrients?
 
I do DWC an never change my res.just add water and nutes when needed and have never had a problem.

I've noticed that you cna get away with just adding water and nutes to the water. If you are 3 weeks before harvest give them a week feed and straight water for the 2 weeks.
 
I change my res weekly.

I use nutrients right up to harvest. I just reduce strength for 2 weeks rather than "flushing".

If you never change your res, as in completely empty and refill fresh, then you may end up experiencing nutrient imbalances. So although your ppm's are looking fine you could actually be at a point where there is little N left in your water and could see yellowing, stunted growth and other things like purple stems.

Yes but if you use a hydro system right say you add 2L of water to it once a week you add say 2ml of 3-0-0 and 1ml of 1-1-1.5 or what ever so your nute levels should never get lowif you add nutes to the new water you put into the system and ph it.

If you don't change your rez you can get imbalances like jondaman said your plants will use nutes but you won't know how much of what b/c your meter reads total disolved solids it doesn't give you a profile of N-P-K.You should change your rez at least every 2 weeks.I do 2wks cuz i have to tote ro water.I don't flush i cut back some the last week.
If you like to flush i would go with monkeymonk,he sounds right on.
 
I use tap water, never change my rez, as a matter of fact, I threw two plants that were in soil along with about two cups of happy frog into a netcup, in one tote. I never flush, and I use battery acid for my ph down. I guess I've really been dodging a bullet for the last few years cause every crop in every tote is at least 8 zips. Not great I know, but acceptable.
