Hydro consumption

Does anyone know what the average household hydro consumption would be for an Ontario residence? Just a little worried about the amount of consumption. I'm running 6 600's for flowering and about 1000W for vegetation and want to up it to 10 600's. I have a 3 bedroom house and this is the only electricity being used. I keep hearing different things these days about the SAFE amount of consumption and am looking for some clarification. I used to run 2400w for flowering and 1000w for vegetation somewhere else for two years plus I lived in the place and never had a problem. What do you think??

Ten 600s would be 6000 watts. If that's the only electricity you use, I honestly don't think it would cause a problem. The average household has a couple of TVs, a computer, a stereo system, ect.

ya I guess they would but i am going to try my best to cover it with running other things after the 12 hours and those twelve hours will be during daytime hours. I was also thinking of running a generator a few times a week to cover up some of the wattage use. Or even break the room up into two or three different hours of the day. Any suggestions

ya, thats what I am thinking. I just set up the place so haven't put much thought into how to do it but did all of a sudden have a spike of about 3500watts. I think I should definetely put the vegetation later at night

techniacally they wont notice anything as long as you dont try to stealmpwer or get late on your bills, electricity is monitered electronically by a computer it does not check for nething it just moniters the ones who dont pay there bills on time, or if they see that someone is syphening eletrticty thats when u get busted

I always try to hook my lights up as soon as I move into a place to keep the power about the same. But the power company cant tell what time of the day you have more usage at . they just read Kill-watt hrs once a month. A regular stove is based at 6000w . when we do service demand calculations so if you arent using a stove or any other power then you should be ok. A 600w is only 6.3 amps so 8 would be just around 50 amps. A range is 40 amps.

u are fine bud... ive heard 97 kilowatts per day is the limit which equals 5 1k lights + fans , ac and all the other stuff .... as for power surges such as 12 hors on 12 off the only way power companie s can detect that is if u havea smart reader on ur place

I really didn't want to create another thread. Can someone explain to me how much a 1000W bulb / unit will use? How is it calculated is that 1000w's every second, minute, hour or what?
