I am considering installing a drip feed system in my cabinet. I am running pro-mix and all organics. I was thinking of running my AN nutes at 1/4 to 1/2 concentrations ... I assume since I will be using soil there will be less need for nutes than with a true hydro setup. My operation has to be somewhat automated. I work away from home for several days at a time, and the misses isn't being a happy helper in any way. guaranteed she is going to want to help consume the end product though!!! LmaoAnyway ... My plan is to have a basic hydro reservoir with air stone and a pump going to 1/2" main line, and 1/4" spaghetti tubing going from the 1/2" tubing to 0.5 gph regulators mounted on tube steaks and dripping into the pots. I will have to get a 7 day digital timer so that I can water 2 to 3 times a week. It may take some time to figure out how long I need the pump running to supply adequate water to each plant, but I think I can figure this out.Has anybody tried drip systems with soil? on a timer? Automated systems?Anybody with any info PLEASE respond ASAP.Oh and P.S..... I have figured out a way I can remotely see my plants ... My home computer is set up for remote access ... And my wii camera connects by USB. It's actually really cool to be able to see the ladies over the web live. Kinda like watching live streaming xxx shows, except my ladies don't charge!! Anybody want to know how ... Let me know and I can start a thread or something.
