i came across a hydrofarm 250w hps/mh system on ebay

my question is does it really work with both mh and hps does that include cmh or do i need a conversion bulb? iv only ever heard of that in digi ballasts how does that work

does anyone have experience with that type of fixture

Yes, it will run both a MH and HPS bulb of 250 watt. I've seen a couple in action and they seem to get the job done for the price.

Actually, i've never paid attention to the pricing of those units till now. That's a great deal. I'll have to start recommending those to hobbyist.

i have a sun systems 150w that runs cooler then my 250w cfls i could easily manage twice that in my stealth cab my other main concern is the reflector it doesnt look like it would get a decent footprint its really small

does anyone have experience with these systems?
