hydro flood and drain question helpppppppppp

im running a hydro flood and drain and right now my clones are in 3 inch net pots and the roots grew wayyyy out the bottom, in hydro can i flowering using those pots since the roots dont grow down like soil??? or should i transplant risk tearing a shit ton of roots and putting in bigger net pots???

im really debating on what i wanna do because i wanna flower the clones in a week or so what do yall think i should do????????/

you want to know if you can flower with your plants in the 3" pots? Are you using expanded clay as the medium? I would say you could do it, but your gonna need something to stabilize there pot once they start putting on weight (from producing buds) cause a 3" base will be very pron to fall over..... i think you could just get bigger pots, fill and put your 3 inch pots inside the bigger ones. That way you dont have to take the plant out and mess with her roots.

Just a thought, i would do that if i was in your situation.
