hmm, Well, did some pricing out on my list

Yeah, actually thinking about about it.. It would be a bit more..What cost you the most?

It's still all good. I mean, I know it would be cheaper to go soil, but would it really be worth it?
Ok here is what I would do. Plant your seeds stick them in soil and build around them. as they get bigger figure out whats the next step and build it. Start with 400 HPS and some fans for air. I had no idea how expensive hydro was until i got so far into it i could not stop. You have to go dirt unless you have some cash to blow. sorry.

hahah sad sad sad!!!

really this is all that I really want. Is to be able to use that system and I will be great. I was thinking it shouldnt run really that much. As far as the smell, will it be THAT bad as long as I have some kinda ventilation?

you will have to buy your lights off of CL used and pick up all your tubs and such at HD or walmart you could go CFL there are a lot of ways to do hydro just not at the scale you wanted to that's all. Good luck and research read and learn. you will be fine.

For vegging you can get away with cfl's fine.. Craig's list etc isn't the only source of hps lights either.. It might be cheaper to look into electrical/lighting outfits like Westburne etc.. A few years ago I got 2 400W units with high-bay reflectors and bulbs for $90cdn each.. A trustworthy pump is a godsend with hydro though.. The cheap ones like to die quickly I find..
White paint (flat) is nearly as effective as mylar, and can easily be upgraded when affordable..
Depending on your strain odour can vary greatly, its tough to say how much you should budget for that..
As for hydro nutes, thats a catch-22 on a budget with the way they price quantities small/large, but if you're new to this I highly recommend them (same with the tds pen)..
You can set that up for $500 if you spend some time hunting..

you should pick up a portable AC unit.
I tried this for my garage and very hard applicatioin and had to return the unit. I need 14,000BTU for the space but have no wear to vent hot exhaust it blows out of back of unit, You can't run extended hose to attic due to possible malfunction with unit.

Does anyone know what could help with the venting issue? Live in a townhome and tried coring thru wall and brick but unlucky. Don't want to hire concrete coring sub due to some reasons that don't need to be discussed. HELP!!!!! Money not to much of a concern,'
