It is better to get the proper nutrients and use them at half strength. the time it takes to flood your tables is all the on time you need. Then drain. If you have hydroton in there you do that a couple times during lights on. If your watering the roots, no medimum, then as long as it takes for the roots to start to dry. Yes, go one hour down time to start but you dont want to go constant watering. You could run the airstone constantly or plug it into the timer too.

if they were over nutes best to run plain water then once improment add slowly 100 ppm at a time

great thread people sorry to hijack but iv started my own thread an no ones answerin me im growin critical i put them on 12/12 like 12days ago and still not flowerin but are growin like crazy any idea whats goin on as i have one unkown strain in there and thats started flowering but the critical havent any advice would be good thanks
