Hydro setup

Ok I was planning on trying a hydro setup but my question is if it’s sitting in a bucket of nute water when do you add more nutes? And If you ever change that water out?

There are different methods of hydro. Flood and drain the plants only sit in the nutes when you flood the table. Sounds like you're talking about DWC Deep Water Culture where the plants roots are in some sort of a reservoir all the time. I haven't done DWC in years. There is a subforum for that.

On the krarky can I use the same nutes I’ve been using or do I have to use a certain kind? Because from what I can gather you don’t change the nutes at all

Ok I’ve tried the DWC method until I can figure the other one out. My question is is this too much water? It’s literally bubbling out of the hydroton clay pebbles, I have one seed in some stonewool, 5 gallons of distilled water. One air pump with a air stone

When I run my RDWC or my bubbler buckets, I will change the solution in the system every 2 weeks. I will monitor pH and ec to see if I'm feeding them enough but usually just add water to top off between dumps. My neighbor just keeps adding full strength solution and never drains-her weed smokes like it too.

I run the level so that it's just below the bottom of the net lid. Requires top watering until you get roots to drop down into solution and then they will feed themselves. I always rinse my hydroton before using.
