Hydro Water Temp

What temp the water for a hydro setup should be at?
Is it possible to cool the temp of the water when pumping air into the water if the air where the pump is is cooler?

From what I understand, the ideal res temp in Hydro is 68 F. It is possible to cool the water by pumping cooler air into the water. If it gets out of control, you can freeze water bottles, and place them in the res and replace when they thaw. Good Luck!

I won't be doing any thing that requires me a res but I was wondering if this would be good to help not only keep room temps down but also help keep the tems of the dwc water cool.

I was thinking of building a chamber where the intake is mounted at the front and has tubing comming into a chamger that has a ice rac and drip tray under neath with an exit tube with a PC fan at the end of it or 2. It will have an exit slot at the back and a reuse air slot there to to reuse the cooled air and it will be adjustable to fit the temps. There would be tubing going from the reuse air to a nother chamber where just above it the heated light air would be taken in before it goes to the intake at the front.

Sorry I could only explane it by words since I tryed doing a drawing of it and it ended up being to big in size and to big in kb. What are your ideas to help controll the grow space and the over all room temp insted of using a A/C?

I am sorry, you lost me in your description. You will find alot of ways to do things, but I find it best to KISS.. Keep It Simple Silly... Make sure your intake is near the floor pulling in the coolest air, and exhaust your area at the top, since heat rises. A couple strategically placed fans to keep air flowing also. I like to have a fan blowing between the canopy and light, on somewhat of an upward angle, pushing the heat from the lamp upwards away from the plants. It is also wise to have good airflow between the containers and the vegitation, also at a slight upward angle. If the Temps are still a bit high, take advantage of the heat and add CO2. Good Luck!

I ill be growing with CFLs so I'm not tottly worried about the heat and its kinda simple. the hole point of it is to use the cubes and a PC fan or 2 to cool the air down in the grow area even try to keep it cooler in the room with out having to use a a/c
