First grow and need to ask about lighting. I bought a hydofarm flco125d light with reflector. Plants (7) just entered veg state. Do I have to switch lighting to get through flowering stage or can I continue with this set up and reap any herb at the end. the plants are about 6 inchs and are super healthy right now. I have 4 G 13 KUSH, 1 NYC DIESEL, 1 BLUE MOBSTER and 1BLACK DOMINA.

Thanks
Billman.

Yes, you can use that light thru flowering, BUT, You will need to add 9 to 10 times the wattage of that one light in mostly 2700-3000K range. If you are going all cfl you want mabe smaller bulbs because you need them 1-3 inches from the plant. Go get a 3 in 1 meter for light, ph, moisture and see your light at the bulb and see how fast and how drastic the bud busting power drops as soon as the plant is 3 or more inches away from the light.. vegging is ok but when its time to get busy you need cfl right in the plants grill. You want at LEAST 100 real cfl watts per plant for 2-3ft plants and 150 watts for 4-5 ft plants. per plant.

If you are going with a 600 or 1000 hps then you can use the cfl for lower lighting or keep it seperate and start your cuttings and vegging for right after havest of your crop... this will give you a fresh crop about every 3 months.

Thanks Tiger,
I was kinda thinking along those lines. plan on cloning and using this light to get them going. I will probally go with fewer plants next time. I am growing for my own use and dont need a farm. Sounds like a light upgrade will be my next move, and I will listen to you on the HPS.
Be Cool
