Hydrofarm tower of power problem

I purchased a tower of power and have a 1K watt light and 1 small household fan running off of this thing, nothing else off of this outlet at all. It worked for about two weeks and now keeps shutting off on me, killing power to my 1K, I have to manually turn the switch back on, and adjust the timer. Last night I did this and now my hydrofarm timer that I have my 1K plugged into is not working. Any thoughts??????????

Am planning on returning, its just an hour drive to the grow store for me, and was wondering if getting a normal power strip to that outlet be any different???

I do however have a power strip with a few T5's and a couple fans on it plugged into an outlet that is on the same side of the room as this other one, could that be 15amps between the two??? Probably not right??

So I ended up having a big enough list of shit I needed from the store to make the trip today, and got some real good advice. They told me to turn all the breakers in my house off and turning them on one by one, plug a light into every outlet throughout the house once for each different breaker and number them. turns out my bathroom and hall all run off the same breaker I had my 1K hooked up to, I was def over 15amps on that breaker.

IIRC, a 15A breaker @ 120V will allow you to pull 1800W (voltage x amps = max watts). Put in a bigger breaker or lessen the load. Looks like you already figured it out though.
