When do I give my babies nutrients? I use Maxi Grow and Maxi Bloom by general hydroponics.

Do i place a cracked seed into the rock wool and then soak it? or do I wait till the tap root is exposed enough and plant it and cover it ?

Should I buy a Drip feed system?

Do I leave my lights on 24/7 until it fully hits vegi stage?

hey cal- don't start nutes til after the third set of true leaves. i start with a ppm of 200 and increase by 100 every 7-10 days. don't know much about rock wool. i do remember reading somewhere that you have to soak it first. you can hand feed once or twice a day til the roots reach the water or just keep your water level high enough that the bubbling water keeps your net pot and rock wool cube wet. and finally- i use 18on6off. it save a few bucks worth of electric and i've never seen any difference between 18/6 and 24on. don't know anything about a 24/7 schedule

I am contemplating the Maxi series from General Hydroponics, since I would argue that it's more concentrated and my biggest expense is shipping...

On General Hydroponics homepage they state that you need 1tsp/5ml base nutrient per gallon, per week.
Does this also hold true when growing weed?
Also, are you using any of the additives or anything else but use Maxi Grow and Maxi Bloom?

Hey calvinjones1200 -> does the GH homepage feeding schedule of 1tsp/5ml base nutrient per gallon work when growing weed?
